Omega Productions produces New Year’s Eve satellite special from Brooklyn

Paul Christensen and his wife Donna Christensen and their talented crew were recently asked to produce a New Year’s Eve live satellite broadcast for Brooklyn based Christian Cultural Center featuring CCC Music Group RecordGARY ANGLIN RUNS THROUGH  SONGS DURING REHEARSAL...s artist Gary Anglin and the Voices of CCC. The project, directed by Omega’s award-winning Director, Don Moore, and originating from CCC’s 20,000 member worship center, was broadcast live nationwide on the PAX and Sky Angel Networks. The 5000+ sold out audience and tens of thousands of home viewers were treated to an electrifying 1 1/2 hour concert by Anglin and his guests, hosted by Rick Joyner, host of The Praise Party show on the Sheridan Gospel Network, Cheryl “Salt” James, from the group Salt ‘n Peppa and Fox News commentator, Julien Phillips, as well as live updates from Times Square, hosted by Tiffany Walker, Miss New York State 2002, and comments from CCC Senior Pastor, Rev. A. R. Bernard, Sr.

Pastor Bernard served as Executive Producer along with CCC Chief Operating Officer and President of CCC Music Group Carol Anglin, who produced the project. Bradley Toms, CCC DirectorVOICES OF CCC... of Media assisted Pastor Bernard and Carol Anglin, serving as CCC’s media producer. Paul and Donna Christensen produced the live television broadcast and DVD, which will be used to support the band’s recent CD release, Gary Anglin and the Voices of CCC. The CCC ministry, which has an extensive media staff and state-of-the-CHERYL THACKER DESIGNED THE LIGHTING AND STAGE LOOK...art facilities, provided many of the critical crew including Aaron Jenkins, assistant to Ms. Anglin; Michael Wilkinson, Jr., Music Director for CCC and Gary Anglin; Jeff Utsey, Project Manager; Shawn Jones, Audio Director; Marcia McIntyre, Media Department Assistant; Annissa Davis, Assistant Director; Spencer Lee III, Director of Engineering and George Howell, Floor Director. CCC’s Peter Smith provided the house sound mix while fellow CCC member Billy Pointer served as Stage Monitor Engineer.

Assisting the Christensens were Omega’s Ruthel Flunder and award-winning Director, Don Moore, who wove his magic with Omega’s talentedLIVE SATELLITE PROJECT WILL BECOME DVD... hand held camermen, Mike Filippi and Charlie Faciane and Local Jib operators, Bruce Balton and Bill Jackson with Camera Moves. Other cameras were operated by CCC staffers Shoshana FrancisMichael Moffat and Kevin Thompson. The spectacular lighting design and stage look was produced by Cheryl Thacker , assisted by Chris Komishock, both of whom are team members of Frank Marsico’s well knownMICHAEL WILKINSON, JR. CHECKS HIS KEYBOARD DURING REHEARSAL... lighting company, Shadowstone, Inc. The stage and scenic design was contributed so ably by CCC member, Chris Cumberbatch, owner of Above the Surface design firm.

All Mobile Video, NY, provided remote television and satellite uplink facilities and services. AMV’s Tom D’Angelo handled the planning for remote facilities, with fellow AMV staffer Lenny Laxer handling satellite services. AMV’s Doug May and Victor Moroz served as video engineers for the shoot, while AMV’s Tom Malkin engineered the satellite hook up. Other personnel provided by AMV were Robin Bemporad, CGTHE TRACK WAS LOCKED THANKS TO THE DRUMMER...Operator; John Pretnar, Video; Rich Bergelson, Video Tape and Howard Pearl, Audio Mixer.

Tony Prendatt, Lorider Media Group, served as Producer for the live recording and on-air music mix, assisted by Jim Mosley , Broadcast Audio Tech. Prendatt also engineered the Anglin CD release, which has enjoyed great success on the Billboard Charts. CAT Entertainment Services provided redundant generators for the shoot and uplink, supervised by CAT’s Mike Moloney.

The Long Form video and DVD will be edited by the media department at CCC. The project is slated for a Summer 2004 release.
