Omega Productions produces live New Years Eve Blues DVD and CD project for Blind Pig Records

Paul Christensen and the Omega Productions crew were recently in Ft. Worth, Texas on New Year’s Eve shooting a live concert DVD for Chicago based Blues label Blind Pig Records. The project, featuringSMOKIN JOE AND BNOIS HOLD COURT... Dallas based artist Smokin’ Joe Kubek and Bnois King, was shot New Year’s Eve at the venerable J & J Blues Bar. In addition to the DVD, the concert was also recorded as part of an upcoming live CD release. Blind Pig Records principals, Jerry Del Giudice and Edward Chmelewski, served as Executive Producers for both projects. The New Year’s Eve BNOIS ON VOCALS AND GUITAR...festivities kicked off with high energy performances by the Dallas based group featuring the consummate Joe Kubek on Guitar and Bnois King on vocals and guitar. The ensuing tightly packaged blues groove was punctuated by Kubek’s skillful guitar execution wrapped in King’s vocals. Following a rousing New Year’s countdown involving the sold out audience, the group closed out the evening with a second blazing set.
