Omega Productions projects receive four DOVE® nominations

Four soundtracks from three recent video projects produced by Paul Christensen and his wife Donna Christensen have been nominated for DOVE® Awards by the Gospel Music Association (GMA).

Nominated for a DOVE® Award in the “Traditional Gospel Recorded Song of the Year” category are “34TH ANNUAL DOVE AWARDS LOGO...Closet Religion ” from the CD and Video, Churchin’ With Dottieby Dottie Peoples and label,Atlanta International; “Endow Me” from the CD and Video, Twinkie Clark & Friends…Live In Charlotte by Twinkie Clark and Verity Records; and “Holding On” from the CD and Video, Amazing Love by the Mississippi Mass Choir and Malaco Records. Also nominated for a DOVE® Award in the “Traditional Gospel Album of the Year” category is the project, Churchin’ With Dottie by Dottie Peoples and label, Atlanta International.

The 34th Annual Dove Awards will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2003 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, hosted2003 DOVE AWARDS SHOW...by two of Christian and Gospel music’s most beloved and celebrated artists, CeCe Winans and Steven Curtis ChapmanPAX TV, broadcast partner for the Dove Awards, will air the awards show on the coveted Saturday evening April 19 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET/PT. The Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) will also air the show, resulting in the largest potential audience the Dove Awards has seen. TBN will televise the Dove Awards on Friday, April 25 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT and Saturday, April 26 at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.

The Dottie Peoples television special, Churchin’ with Dottie, produced by the Christensens, was recorded for AIR Gospel Records last year at Atlanta’s New Birth BapOMEGA RECEIVES 4 DOVE NOMINATIONS...tist Church and featured Ms. Peoples, the Peoples Choice Singers and the New Birth Mass Choir. Ms. Peoples served as record producer for the project.

The Twinkie Clark video, Twinkie Clark & Friends…Live In Charlotte, produced by the Christensens, was recorded for Verity Records last year at University Park Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC, and featured Ms. Clark and her sisters. Cedric Thompson served as record producer for the project.

The Mississippi Mass Choir television special, Amazing Love, was produced by the Christensens, and recorded for Malaco Records last year in Jackson, Mississippi at the Thalia Mara Concert Hall and featured the choir and special guests
