Sporting Event Entertainment

Today, the lines between sports and entertainment are blurring. Sports is entertainment! Most entertainment celebrities are into sports. Most sports fans also have their favorite entertainers. Because of their long history in the music and entertainment business, Omega Productions has often been tapped to produce entertainment for sporting events. It was a natural progression.

Between 1972 and 2002, Omega Productions provided consulting services and producer resources for the Dallas Cowboys Football Club, first with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and in recent years (1989-2002), all Game Day entertainment. When the team was sold in 1989, Omega was asked to submit a proposal for a comprehensive Music, Communications and Entertainment System for Texas Stadium, home of the Cowboys. That system, which later became a model for the NFL, has opened other doors for the company.

 Other Projects

Omega Productions was selected as Day of Game Producers for the World Cup USA 1994 games at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. Paul and Donna Christensen served as Co -Producers for the series, including assisting in the Opening Ceremonies.

A number of other events have been produced by the company including An Evening of Sport and Spirit with sports legend Tom Landry and recording artist Louise Mandrell, the 1995 Super Bowl Party during Super Bowl XXX and Numerous Pep Rallies for the Dallas Cowboys Football Club, featuring members of past Super Bowl teams, Reba McEntire, Linda Davis, Tracy Lawrence, Percy Sledge, Emilio Navaira, David Ball and Jerry Jeff Walker. Other artists have included the Dixie Chicks, Waylon Jennings, Charlie Pride, Yolanda Adams, Clint Black and sores of national celebrities.
