Omega projects score Stellar Awards and Nominations...

The 16th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards, held recently at the Atlanta Civic Center in Atlanta recognized a number of artists as well as projects worked on last year by Omega's Paul and Donna Christensen. This year's two hour salute to gospel music, titled, "The New Gospel Sound," honored the life and achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This years show was co-hosted by gospel diva Vicki Winans, gospel music legend Dr. Bobby Jones, Bishop T.D. Jakes and MTV host Amanda Lewis.

The show featured spectacular performances by multi-platinum gospel music artist Kirk Franklin and 1NC, gospel singer Shirley Caesar featuring New Direction, singer Aaron Neville, Donnie McClurkin, exciting newcomer Natalie Wilson and S.O.P. Chorale, Donald Lawrence, The Christianaires, Beverly Crawford and the Potterhouse Choir, gospel singer Damita, Ricky Dillard and New "G."

Verity Recording artist Hezekiah Walker & The Love Fellowship Crusade Choir picked up Choir of the Year and Rap/Hip Hop Gospel Performance of the Year, for "Family Affair." Verity artist Fred Hammond, whose popular "Pupose by Design" long form video was produced by the Christensens, took home honors in the Male Vocalist of the Year, Producer of the Year and Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year categories.
